A Spring 2023 Update

I don’t particularly like writing “Dear Reader” posts on this blog, but after only one post in nearly 10 months, I just want to check in. The last year has been a busy one for me—I’ve been finishing graduate school, working on some home renovations, and devoting some time to the newly active Marple Historical Society. With all of that said, I should have some more time in the near future and I look forward to writing more frequently for the Marple History Blog. Later this month I’ll have a post about the West Chester Pike trolley and after that I want to finally begin looking at early suburbanization in Marple Township. I want to thank you all for your patience, and I look forward to continuing to explore Marple’s history with you.
